DUKKHA/ KNOTWORK - Split 7"
This is one of the records I've been waiting for since I first heard it was coming out and it has not disappointed. Both bands absolutely crush it on this one.
DUKKHA from Pittsburg calls themselves funeral crust from the rustbelt. This is fitting reminding me of something between DEVIATED INSTINCT and DYSTOPIA. Slower depressive stenchcore that will run right into something much faster supported by a strong d-beat backbone
KNOTWORK is on the flipside and is from Detroit and plays what they call crusher crust. Their side is more metallic and thrashy with just an amazing driving bass sound. Reminds me of taking AXEGRINDER or SACRLIEDGE and just making it faaaaast with vocals that bring a gruffer Cronos from VENOM.
This is a great follow up from both bands demos, this 7" rips and definitely snag a copy!
